From humble beginnings in 1956 as one of the first bearing companies of India, today Delux Bearings is one of the largest suppliers of Clutch Release Bearings, Concentric Slave Cylinders (Hydraulic Clutch Actuators), SMART e-Pneumatic Clutch Actuators, Steering column Bearings, Synchronizer Cones, Double Row Ball Bearings and Axial thrust Bearings to the world. Rohan Rathod, a very young and dynamic third generation entrepreneur, has been the Managing Director at the organization for Four years and has led a massive turn around. Graduating as an architect from Carnegie Mellon University, USA, with virtually no engineering background, Rohan has utilized his passion for design to spearhead a transformation in the company’s approach to Technology, Application and Testing. Starting from a standalone factory, today Delux under his aegis has two modern factories across serving over 100 customers across the globe and is expanding to set up an additional factory in the next six months.

Rathod also plays the role of CTO in the company; every product design and development passing through his hawk eyes before release to customers. A complete hands-on individual, Rathod spends most of the day with his top executives, taking a hard stand on commitments and future readiness. The company’s product portfolio has almost doubled in his tenure.

Delux Bearings manufactures all it’s signature and legacy products at their modern facility in Surendranagar, Gujarat. A combination of flexible cellular manufacturing and fully automated lines are utilized to meet customer requirements. Modern customers demand modern methods and highest product quality. Delux foresaw this emerging trend and tailored a new factory around the modern buyer. Today the factory is IATF 16949 and ISO 9001, ISO 14001 compliant. It is now getting ready for industry 4.0 while ushering local talent towards livelihood.

Delux Bearings is the parent company for Infinity Driveline – the Groups Actuator and Driveline division. Innovation is seen in action, and this was displayed when Delux launched their latest venture into driveline products named INFINITY DRIVELINE. This division, a brainchild of Rohan’s vision is the manifestation of his way of life: Infinite dreams & Infinite realities! The division makes the most modern and efficient driveline solutions for clutch actuation like e-Concentric Slave Cylinders and e-Concentric Pneumatic Clutch Actuator.

Infinity, a part of the Delux brand, is the only company in India to have successfully engineered, developed, tested and commercially launched the novel SMART E-Actuators for Heavy Duty Commercial vehicles. Today the facilities services four Global customers with long term contracts making it one of the top five companies in the world with this product expertise. Within six months of inception, the company serves all major CV customers across the globe. The fully automated factory, most extensive test beds and ERP driven company is already the biggest in India in its segment.
