TÜV SÜD in India collaborates with NATRAX (National Automotive Test Tracks) to facilitate EMI/EMC and other tests under ISO/IEC 17025
TÜV SÜD has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with NATRAX, one of India’s leading testing and certification agencies, officially notified by the Government of India under Rule 126 of Central Motor Vehicle Rules. This strategic collaboration enables TÜV SÜD to conduct EMI/EMC tests at its Bengaluru faciltity for automotive vehicles & components according to Indian automotive industry standards and further expands opportunities for manufacturing units across Delhi / NCR and other clusters across the country. The results will be recognized by NATRAX for issuing Type Approval and Conformity of Production certificates to manufacturers seeking approval under Rule 126 of the Central Motor Vehicle Rules (CMVR).

In India, TÜV SÜD has been meeting the needs of testing, certification, auditing, inspection, and training requirements of domestic and international markets for several years through its existing network of 39 offices and testing facilities at Bengaluru, Gurugram, Mumbai, Tiruppur and Visakhapatnam.
The EMI/EMC and RF testing labs at TÜV SÜD’s cutting edge facility are equipped to test products in the frequency range of up to 40Ghz, and equipped to accommodate larger products, with its 10m Semi-Anechoic chamber, designed with a 6 metre turn-table and payload provision of 6000 kg. The facility further supports the proliferation of IoT through EMC, wireless and electric safety labs.
National Automotive Test Tracks (NATRAX), a unit of National Automotive Board (NAB) is a premier testing and certification agency.
